2011 Weight Loss And Diet Plan Of Attack

Have you been looking to lose weight but have been putting it off for some time now? Well that sounds like most of us out there and trust me I know where you are coming from because I put off losing weight for about three years before I ever did anything about and trust me once I finally did make a plan of attack diet plan I felt better then I ever have in my life. Plain and simple.


Now let me give you an an insight to what I went threw, I went threw the whole party phase, the staying out late nights with friends, parties, drinking, bars, and late night stops and del taco and jack in the box. and in just 1 year I went from 170 to 240lbs it was horrible and every picture I seen myself in I cringed. I knew I had to take my life back and here is how:


I cut out all fast foods,


I cut out soda, and drinking beer for 3 months.


I joined a gym and bought and read every weight loss book I could get my hands on for motivation.


I found a workout buddy that could keep me motivated along the way.


I exercised 45 minutes a day and walked for about 30 of those minutes 5 days a week.


I started to pre-plan all of my meals and write down all calories.


This all sounds like a lot of work but plain and simple its not and within 6 months I was able to shed off 45 pounds and feel better then ever. All you need to do is have dedication and motivation. Also last tip of advice, drink 10 glasses of water a day to help flush out your system of all bad toxins.

1. Simple jumping jacks during tv commercials


I hear a lot of time from my clients about how they're so busy and can't fit in exercise. Sure, yeah right. We're all busy, but some of us still find a way to fit in exercise. They should instead say they're not motivated to fit exercising into their day. But ok, whatever. I'll hit them with this then. I'll tell them to do jumping jacks during tv commercials... at least 5 different tv commercial breaks.


Since I know that each commercial break lasts about 3 minutes and they'll do that 5 different times, that's 15 minutes of exercise they slipped into their schedule without any problems. I urge you to do that. Or if you want to up the level a bit, jump rope instead.


2. Do 6 sets of 25 bodyweight squats


This is a great exercise that doesn't require any weights. Just you and your body. Squat up and down. Be sure to squat down deep enough. There's no point cheating on this exercise since nobody is watching and you'll only be cheating yourself. If you do these sets all together, be sure to rest 45-60 seconds between sets. But you can space them apart through the day and night. Just get all the sets and reps in by the end of the day.

Exercise seems to be the overwhelming response when people ask for advice on how to lose weight. However, the "just get some exercise" mantra doesn't really pan out in the real world. Why is exercise not the reall "secret" to weight loss?


Exercise And It's Downfalls


How many times have you walked in the gym and seen the same people there over and over again? Well, there are two answers to this because you have your hard core gym rats that you see there all the time and then you see your sporatic members than might only get in once a week.


Now obviously, the sporatic people really aren't going to see results: that's a given. Yet, what about the people that are there all the time?


I'd guess maybe only 15% max actually know what they are doing. The rest of the people just seem to go through the motions and act like they'll get there "some day".


But some exercise is better than no exercise right?


Well, it depends on your point of view. You see, if you aren't seeing any results - and the people that don't really know what they are doing aren't seeing any results beyond the first couple of weeks of working out - then you could really make the case that they'd be just as well off sitting at home.


Of course this really isn't true but you get my point.


I'm sure you can see that exercise by itself really isn't the "secret" to weight loss. In fact, many people become very frustrated because they are putting in "all of this work" and nothing's happening.
